Animal sculpture - Fox - Art Deco - Signed

We are selling a superb and imposing fox sculpture signed on the terrace "thomas cartier" (1879-1943). A small brass plaque indicates that this sculpture won the show's gold medal. Another inscription on the back of the sculpture reads "art statue, l. Martini - reproduction prohibited" this sculpture is made of cast iron and has a metallic gray patina characteristic of the art deco style. The posture of the fox in a hunting position is particularly realistic and striking. A very beautiful piece! Dimensions: - length = 70 cm/ width = 22 cm/ height = 25 cm - terrace: length = 50 cm/ width = 22 cm/ height = 13 cm.
