Modernist table lamp, France, 1970s

Elegant modernist table lamp published by SCE, a French lighting manufacturer, notable for its sculptural silhouette and modernist aesthetic. Its wide white lacquered metal shade, with soft lines and an flared shape, rests on a chrome metal structure with graphic curves. The adjustable shade allows for directing light as needed, adding a functional dimension to this particularly refined design. The contrast between the matte whiteness of the shade, the sleekness of the chrome base, and the simplicity of the circular base creates a highly elegant ensemble. Its silhouette evokes the Space Age vocabulary of the 1970s, balancing controlled geometry, visual lightness, and industrial sophistication. With its generous proportions and bold design, this lamp serves as both a functional light source and a true decorative object. It will naturally find its place on a desk, console, or side table, in a contemporary interior as well as in a more eclectic vintage composition. Height 50cm Diameter 45cm Electricity ok Bulb E27
