Original edition of the famous Toucan lamp designed by H.T. Huang for Jiun Yo Co. Ltd. In the 1980s, this model stands out with several sought-after details: a moulded signature under the beak, a red velvet base, and a yellow switch perfectly matching the diffuser. These are all characteristic signs of the early productions, which are now harder to find. This version combines a turquoise green and ivory ABS body, a long translucent yellow beak that emits a soft and warm light, and a smooth joint allowing the beam to be directed. The whole piece offers the joyful, dynamic, and anthropomorphic aesthetic that has made the Toucan lamp an icon of Asian pop design.
