Magnificent art deco glazed ceramic panther from sainte-radegonde, france. The sainte-radegonde pottery was located in touraine: in 1887, gustave asch transferred his ceramic decoration workshops from tours to sainte-radegonde and installed equipment necessary for the manufacture and cooking of pasta. The factory will have several successive owners, including the parisian company primavera in 1920, with 45 employees. It will close its doors definitively in 1986 (source: https: //atoursnord.wixsite.com). The sainte-radegonde brand appears in relief under the base (see photo). Colours: brown and green. Dimensions: terrace (base) 44 cm by 12 cm, total height 26 cm, weight 2, 860 kg.
