Large blown glass vase with polychrome inclusions in the Murano style.

Very beautiful mouth-blown glass vase, large in size with a lovely presence. The decoration consists of multicoloured inclusions trapped within the glass, forming long, twisting coloured flames of red, green, blue, amber... Rising from the base. The white opalescent bottom is animated by grey filaments, giving a marbled effect. A heavy and stable quality piece, made using traditional craftsmanship techniques. The underside features a polished pontil mark, characteristic of the glassmaker's cane work, indicating manual production. Exact origin not identified. The style, blowing technique, quality of the glass, and coloured inclusions suggest Italian productions of the Murano type from the second half of the 20th century. Careful shipping.
