Pair of English Art Deco dishes Gladstone

An old pair of presentation dishes in fine English porcelain by Gladstone China, estimated to date from between 1925 and 1935. The decoration features typical graphic codes of English Art Deco: black beaded lines, stylised almost geometric patterns, bold colours of orange, celadon green, purple, and yellow, enhanced with gilding. The shape immediately catches the eye: a soft square with wavy contours, straddling the line between a serving tray and a decorative object. The small gilded arabesques placed on the sides reinforce their very 1930s presence. Perfect for: cake service, scones, biscuits, table presentation, vintage centrepiece. Dimensions: approximately 22 X 24 cm Height: 1.5 cm. Overall good vintage condition. Light wear to the gilding and micro-traces of use consistent with their era.
