Cupboard

I present you this vintage wardrobe in locust, with decorations entirely hand-painted on both panels. It dates from the 50s. I made a casein painting myself. Ingredients: lime, casein, water, natural pigments and oxides, clove essential oil. I realize workshops of natural paintings and decorations painted by hand on wood, do not hesitate to contact me! The casein paint dries slowly, fits well into the wood fibers and lets the support breathe. My goal is to limit products that are harmful to our health. This paint is afraid of moisture, so avoid in a bathroom or outside. This decoration on wood is an alternative to wallpaper. For this floral motif, I played on the opacity and transparency of the painting, making glazes. We then see the veins of the wood appear under certain flowers. I chose a timeless and vegetal motif, to brighten up this light wood cabinet. Autumnal and warm shades, which will bring character and originality to your interior, for young and old! This large wardrobe is functional with a wardrobe bar and shelf along the entire length. The furniture is made of solid wood, locust tree (except the bottom). It is solid, and has recessed metal and patinated handles, a so-called "mustache" base and two sliding panels on rails. Dimensions: 200 length X 62 depth X 192 height cm. Interior shelf: 53 X 194 cm. Warning: all furniture keeps small scars of time. Despite all the care taken, small defects and imperfections are inherent in the use or artisanal restoration of furniture.
