Antique painted wooden sofa. Made in sweden during the 19th century. Back in the days these swedish antique benches where also used as beds the seat can be lifted off, slides out and would then be filled with straw or hay. Seat has been upholstered with foam and a duck weave cotton. Bench has been later painted but shows signs of the old paint leaving a nice patina. This item remains in very good condition. Seat height 50cm.
