An exceptionally rare note introduces this splendid and imposing Space Age / Mid-Century Modern table lamp, designed by the renowned master Toni Zuccheri and handcrafted in Murano, Italy, in the 1970s. Unlike the vast majority of examples on the current market, this lamp stands out with its refined central ring made of semi-transparent amber/brown smoked Perspex/Plexiglass. The geometric base is made of polished mirror chrome metal and supports a mouth-blown Murano glass sphere of exceptional quality. It is worth noting that there is a small area of partial chipping of the original protective varnish (zapon) along the lower edge of the chrome base, on the side opposite the power cord entry (as visible in the detail photos). This minor imperfection is purely cosmetic, entirely consistent with the age of the piece, and does not compromise its structural integrity or extraordinary visual impact.
