Pair n°1: Chair n°61 of the 1906 catalogue, fischel austria, original label under the seat "fischel – niemes in böhmen / à niemes en bohème (austria)" Pair n°2: Chair n°271, by jacob & josef kohn, stamped + label "jacob & josef kohn, wien, registerd schutzmarke semper sursum" Fischel and kohn specialized in the manufacture of bentwood furniture, especially after the expiry in 1869 of the patent for wood bending taken by mickaël thonet. These chairs have certainly spent part of their existence in a café, bistro or tea room. They are old ladies, who have a nice experience and who will accommodate a moderate use. Condition: good general condition but used, traces of small repairs made during their life, wood treated against xylophages.
