Mix office chair by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni

Mix swivel chair by italian designer couple afra & tobia scarpa made for italian publisher molteni. Circa 1970. The seat and backrest are made of original black leather.
 The structure of the chair is revolutionary for the time, indeed the connection system between the seat shell and the supporting structure are both made of die-cast aluminum, all assembled thanks to a plate also die-cast, thus forming a plain and solid element. The chair is in very good condition and the leather does not show pronounced traces of wear, the whole rotates and rolls perfectly. With a comfort and a sober and elegant design as the italians know how to do so well, this office chair will easily find its place. Dimensions: h79 X w71 X d59
