Maurice bias rest chair (1875-1926) for la maison moderne. An oak armchair, Rest chair - circa 1902. Armchair of 1902 of the painter, poster artist and designate maurice bias for the company "la maison moderne" this very avant-garde model that could have inspired 40 years later designers like hans wegner for his model ge 375 and pierre guarriche for his model fs 105. Oak seat with loose armrests and curved flat cuffs with slightly inclined straight back. Seat seat and bottom covered with green fabric. Woodworking in very good condition. Tapestry of the seat and backrest to be reviewed. High. 84 cm - long. 70 cm - depth 90 cm. Bibliography: alastair duncan, the paris salon 1895-1914 volume.
