Georges martel, known as géo martel, took over the earthenware of desvres in 1900, he recruited artists such as the ceramist georges charlet or the painter and sculptor giovanni léonardi. The earthenware of desvres acquires its fame through the reproduction "handmade" of pieces and decorations of the most famous earthenware makers (delft, rouen, moustiers...) These plates decorated with balloons are painted by hand, so unique, they are part of the rouen series, on the back is the crest that symbolizes the manufacture of desvres as well as the initials of each artist.
