The Swedish designer Börje Johanson completely reinterpreted the safari style principle in the 1970s, replacing the traditional wooden structure with shiny chrome tubing and swapping the thick canvas or saddle leather for soft, lustrous black upholstery. The functional spirit of the rustic expedition chair thus merged with the glamorous aesthetic of the 70s disco era. In good condition with slight signs of wear. Shipped disassembled.
