Antique Scottish Highland Terrier bookends

An adorable pair of vintage bookends featuring two Scottish terriers, which will add a touch of humor and charm to a library, an office, or a child's room. Made of wood or resin, painted in matte black, the two dogs face each other, their heads slightly turned, with their ears perked up, characteristic beards, and bushy eyebrows. The fur is depicted with fine incisions, and each wears a collar painted with a red and white Scottish pattern, a nod to their origins. Their eyes, rimmed in white, give them an expression that is both endearing and amusing. They rest on a square base with a rounded back, stable enough to hold a row of books. An object that is both ornamental and useful, appealing to dog lovers as well as decor enthusiasts. Overall good condition with some minor wear and paint chips and slight signs of use on the bases.
