Walnut Corner Cabinet, Art Deco – 1930

This walnut veneer and marquetry corner cabinet, dating from the art deco period of the 1930s, is a rare and original piece. This piece of furniture, characterized by its geometric lines and beveled edges, opens with two doors at the top and two doors at the bottom. The fronts are inlaid with burr walnut, alternating with horizontal and vertical arrangements and shades of different shades. Each of the doors is decorated with square handles. When opened, we discover an adjustable shelf on a rack in each element, top and bottom. In the center, a free space has a triangular top with beveled edges and a walnut veneer bottom arranged in an open book.
