This magnificent liqueur decanter is made of cut crystal from Saint-Louis and dates back to the 19th century. This model is featured in the combined catalogue of the Baccarat and Saint-Louis Manufactures from 1840 on plate 21 in the liqueur holder section. It is model number 1015 "Laurel" created by the Saint-Louis glassworks. This model is rare; it is crossed out in the catalogue as it was not continued afterwards. It is a liqueur bottle model from the 19th century that was found in liqueur cellars and taverns. This lovely decanter is adorned with flat cut facets at the top and relief moulded decorations at the bottom, consisting of a frieze of laurel leaves forming hearts, as well as ovals and beads. In good condition, it measures 21 cm in height and 9 cm in width. It comes with its stopper. Please note: signs of use and chips (one chip at the neck and several chips at the base).
