A pair of vintage ‘Torches’ wall lights, 1980s/1990s – steel and glass, E27

A striking pair of vintage wall lights in the form of stylised torches, dating from the late 1980s and early 1990s. The wall lights have a distinctive, elongated silhouette – a slender, conical steel body topped with a white, milky glass shade. Their shape is reminiscent of torches, making them an interesting decorative feature rather than merely a source of light. The combination of chrome-plated steel and white glass fits well with retro, vintage, Space Age and late 1980s modernist aesthetics. The wall lights look great mounted symmetrically on either side of a mirror, console table, bed or painting. They are also ideal for a hallway, living room or bedroom. Details: Set: 2 pieces.
