Vintage 1966 Czechoslovak Oak Sideboard by UP Závody

Elegant Czechoslovak oak sideboard produced by UP Závody in 1966. The design is wonderfully simple, with warm oak grain, two sliding doors and small contrasting dark handles. A recessed plinth base gives the cabinet a light, almost floating appearance, while adjustable shelves inside provide practical storage. At only 37 cm deep, it is considerably slimmer than many traditional sideboards, making it ideal for a hallway, dining room, smaller living space or anywhere that needs useful storage without taking up too much floor area. Its restrained form and natural timber give it a strong Scandinavian-influenced Mid-Century character. Good vintage condition with light age-related wear.
