Description
Natural shell bookends. These are two antique turbo marmoratus also known as the green turban or burgau. Coming from the indian and pacific oceans, they were fished at the time for their thick layer of mother-of-pearl and then used in the making of buttons. Real marine gems from the 1960s. Can also be used as decorative and collectible items (see last photo). Dimensions 15 X 14 cm.
