2 sturdy art deco amsterdamse school chairs in oak from the 1930s. The chairs still have their original seat. Only the fabric has been renewed in a green velvet color. Tropical hardwood (coromandel) is processed in the backrest. The amsterdam school is a style of architecture that manifested itself between 1910 and 1940 as the opposite of nieuwe bouwen, which pursued functionality, purity and simplicity.
