Pair of 19th century Regency style wall lights with winged nymphs -

Beautiful pair of 19th century regency style sconces. The wall section is decorated with shells, fruits and garlands of foliage, topped with a winged nymph with a floral headdress. The light arms are decorated with acanthus leaves, bunches of fruits and foliage. One of the light arms curls on itself. The chasing of the sconces was done by hand, including the finely worked faces of the nymphs. Made of bronze. Original gilding faded, probably double patina because the light arms are darker. Note, stains under cups (see photos). New and tested electrical system (for e14 bulb). Cardboard candles. Careful packaging ensured by colissimo recommandé to your home.
