Small Danish teak dresser or a nightstand, 1960s

This small teak dresser was made in Denmark in the 1960s. It features three drawers with integrated solid teak sculptural handles and stands on tapered, detachable legs. Overall dimensions: H: 68 / W: 62 / D: 30 cm. The dresser features three drawers, each finished with carefully selected and matched teak veneer. The drawer fronts are joined using traditional dovetail joints, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship typical of Danish furniture of the period. Each drawer is fitted with a long, sculpted solid teak handle, which integrates seamlessly with the minimalist design. The dresser stands on solid, tapered teak legs, which can be detached for easier transport. The top has slightly protruding edges, forming a subtle framed detail. This piece can be used as a small chest in an entrance hall, a dresser, or a nightstand next to your bed. Additional dimensions: - drawers height: 6 cm, - ground clearance: 30 cm. The chest has been restored. The drawers are clean and open smoothly. The wood has been cleaned and finished with Danish oil to protect and enhance the teak veneer.
