Rheinmetall-Borsig typewriter

Beautiful 1936 rheinmetall-borsig typewriter. Made in germany. Azerty keyboard. Comes with its protective lid. After the first world war the company, founded by heinrich ehrhardt (1840-1928) in erfurt, started with the production of machine for office, typewriters... The first typewriter was launched in 1926. In 1930 stoewer typewriters were replaced by rheimetall. In 1936, the merger of companies gave birth to rheinmetall-borsig ag.
