Brutalist Genie Floor Lamp 1940’s

Unique and one of a kind is this beautifully hand made brutalist influenced lamp made of copper and brass. It has a look of a genie bottle with decorative motifs all around the base including the pierced pieces of metal on the base. It has a decorative chain on one side whilst have a bent brass hand on the other side. The top has some decoration as well and comes up to a trumpet style top with four pieces of copper coming together to hold the lamp socket. The wiring is european and is indicative of the wiring used in the 40’s and 50’s. It is quite large and looks amazing with or without a shade. It is a work of art as well as a source of light. It is definitely one of a kind! It measures 122cm high on a diameter of 40cm.
