Very fine large modernist vase in glazed ceramic with a granular surface, attributed to Scheurich and stamped Foreign 272-38 under its base. This type of Foreign marking was intended for export, mainly to English-speaking markets, while indicating West German production. Its slender silhouette and its graphic decoration with sinuous lines fully evoke the modernist aesthetic of the 1960s.
