Mazzega (Torpedo Series) Description: A splendid and imposing pair of vintage wall sconces from the '70s in full Space Age style. The central torpedo-shaped diffusers are attributed to the design of Carlo Nason for A.V. Mazzega (Torpedo series), made of fine blown Murano glass with a speckled/pulled finish featuring white inclusions on a translucent base. The glass body is mounted on a double shield-shaped chrome-plated metal backplate, designed to reflect the texture of the glass and double the luminous impact on the wall. Details and Condition: Materials: Blown Murano glass and shiny chrome metal. Condition: Excellent vintage preservation. The glass diffusers are intact, free from cracks, chips, or threads.
