Vintage Table Lamp with Ceramic Base "Retro Wave" Printed Lampshade

Vintage table lamp, matte ceramic base, lampshade printed with a "Mid-Century Modern" motif, found in Alsace and brought up to date in my Strasbourg workshop. Table lamp, ceramic lamp base, painted in off-white. This lamp is a decorative object in its own right, even when switched off. Estimated period of origin: 1960s-1970s Origin: France Style (for the lamp base): with a spherical and organic shape, this lamp base is a real nod to the design of the 1960s and 1970s. Initially with a matte and patinated finish, it has been carefully revived with a new paint job, while retaining its raised wave patterns which give it a subtle and captivating texture. New cylindrical lampshade, dressed in a vintage printed cotton fabric, from period curtains. Its vibrant geometric patterns, irregular lines and bold colors (red, black, yellow, light gray) are emblematic of the Op Art and psychedelic styles of the 1960s and 1970s.
