Vintage table lamp, matte ceramic base, lampshade printed with a "Mid-Century Modern" motif, found in Alsace and brought up to date in my Strasbourg workshop. Initially with a matte and patinated finish, it has been carefully revived with a new paint job, while retaining its raised wave patterns which give it a subtle and captivating texture. New cylindrical lampshade, dressed in a vintage printed cotton fabric, from period curtains. Its vibrant geometric patterns, irregular lines and bold colors (red, black, yellow, light gray) are emblematic of the Op Art and psychedelic styles of the 1960s and 1970s.
