Woodline armchair by Marco Zanuso for Arflex, 1964

An icon of 1960s Italian design, this Woodline armchair was designed by Marco Zanuso for Arflex in 1964 and built in black lacquered plywood and seat covered in high quality black leather. Elegant design accentuated by soft and light lines, an armchair with unique and relaxing comfort. It shows normal signs of wear due to age and use, the leather has been polished as far as possible with a specific product. The lower part of the seat cushion has light marks and/or small cuts as shown in the photo but this makes the comfort and solidity of the armchair irrelevant.
