Here is a nice shallow toad chair, fully padded with gondola back and feet hidden by some fringes of soft green color. It is stocky, impress and very comfortable. The original fabric is in very good condition. It has a lot of charm and sweetness. The seat is comfortable. Its backrest follows the shape of the back and the "hump" padded at the height of the kidneys makes it possible to wedge the spine for optimal comfort. Timeless, this armchair steeped in history does not go out of style and crosses styles and eras brilliantly by easily associating with many styles of current decoration. Its small footprint adds to its success. For the record: the toad armchair appeared around 1830 under the sign of comfort, at the time of louis philippe and then at the second empire. It owes its name to the amnimal, because of its shape collected on short legs.
