Solid wood bookends with zipper, folding, 1900

Old sliding bookend in solid wood (probably mahogany), folding, from the beginning of the 20th century. In good condition, with some traces of use. The bookend measures approximately 65 cm long when opened, 40 cm long closed. A handwritten label on the back indicates "estate mme victor jaspar 86 rue colbert, lille" attesting to its authenticity.
