Large 1930s display cabinet

This week's workshop favorite is this vast 1930s bookcase, composed of two distinct sections. This large, glass-fronted apothecary bookcase was purchased from a former pharmacy. A modern version of the woodwork seen in the hôtel-dieu apothecaries, it features a beautiful honey-toned patina. Made of fir wood, it was fully treated and cleaned by us. We have both keys. Depth of the upper section: 43cm. A rare piece due to its large dimensions and its preserved condition. It can be reused for its original purpose, or as a dresser, for example. In a business, a restaurant, or even a private kitchen, it will add warmth and character to your decor. A beautiful piece that will be treasured for a long time...
