Spectacular pair of halfa chairs by bauman in their avant-garde halfa collection, one of the latest creations. 1970-1971 sensational cantilever design. Very similar sculptural presence - but intention without vanity, simpler, friendlier - of the living room chairs by willy rizzo for sabot, also published in 1970. Made from 5 elements of bent beech - bauman specialty - ebony black stained, one black-brown tending towards green, here with light wear. Cane seats in very good condition, one being slightly softened. Some faint traces, in relation to their 50 years of age. Height 74cm, seat height 46cm, diameter and width 43cm. Great great design. Irresistible.
