Cor alons - the hague school - floorlamp- art deco. The hague, netherlands, 1929. A truly unique and very well preseved floorlamps from the famous art deco influenced the-hague-school architect cor alons (groningen, june 11, 1892 – the hague, april 24, 1967). His style conforms to functionalism; cor alons aimed for a clear structure in his design. Combined oak with the tropical woodsort coromandel for a breathtaking revolutionary design, ahead of its time. The hood is a random storage pick, to give an impression. In overall very good condition. Some little signs as photographed, but nevertheless in stunning condition considering its age. Note: unedited pictures, only cropped.
