Pair of Limoges Porcelain Compotiers – Red Cross / Hospital Style

Superb and authentic pair of low compotiers/on pedestals (fruit bowls) in Limoges porcelain from the interwar period. Adorned with the famous clean design "hospital style" featuring an almond green border and a red cross. Originally intended for the dining halls of officers or executives in hospital/sanatorium structures, they complement each other perfectly: • Compotier 1: Diameter 22 cm / Height 4.5 cm. • Compotier 2: Diameter 23 cm / Height 4 cm. (Supposedly designed for optimised stackable storage). Traceability and Historical Marks: The pieces bear the decoration mark of the house Charlionais & Panassier (Lyon - Toulouse) on the back. One of them also retains the green stamp of "white" from the prestigious Union Céramique (U.C) Limoges, certifying 100% local production.
