Vintage step stool in black formica and chrome steel

Hello, here is a stool doubled as a stepladder, dating from the 60s. The seat and the two folding steps are in black formica. The latter two are ribbed to minimize the risk of slipping. Aesthetically, this gives it a little extra elegance, which, for a utilitarian object, is not displeasing. The structure is made of tubular chrome metal, the feet are protected by rubber tips, protecting the person perching on them and the ground, simultaneously. It is in a very good state of conservation, showing some very slight traces of wear and oxidation as well as a larger rust stain on one of the feet (visible up close in a photograph). Its stability is optimal. It is truly an invention of the times which has not yet found a more competent replacement. Its weight exceeds 5 kilograms and unfolded, its depth is 58 cm.
