Huge Relief in stoneware - Design Noomi Backhausen and produced by Søholm ceramics

Noomi backhausen was a painting student at søholm-keramik and also trained at the ceramic school. She worked at søholm as a designer from 1966 to 1990. She specialised in wall reliefs. Large/long and very beautiful relief in stoneware - design noomi backhausen and produced by søholm-keramik - based on bornholm. Made in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Beautiful glaze with a flower in reddish, green and golden colours. In excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips or crazing. All stamps are in order and it is both numbered and signed. Measures approx. 40 cm in height, 12 cm in width, protrudes 3 cm from the wall and weighs approx. 1500 grams. Packed securely and sent with insurance.
