Mario Bellini Amanta square coffee table for B&B Italy, 1960

A beautiful piece of Italian design history, this original Amanta square coffee table was designed by renowned Italian designer Mario Bellini for B&B Italia in the 1960s. With its distinctive white plastic construction and sculptural, minimalist form, the table perfectly captures the innovative spirit of Italian design from this era. Bellini’s Amanta series is known for its bold use of moulded plastic and timeless organic shapes, making these pieces highly recognisable among collectors and lovers of vintage design. This original table has a wonderful authentic character and shows signs of age and use, as visible in the photographs. These imperfections are part of its vintage history and give the piece an unmistakable lived-in appearance.
