Scandinavian design chest of drawers in light teak from the 1960s attributed to Danish designer Arne Vodder. Elegant, in very good overall condition, emblematic of Nordic design. A piece with simple and balanced lines, highlighting the quality of the woodwork and the softness of its curves. Comprising 2 small drawers at the top, with a subtle and asymmetrical design, above 3 large drawers offering ample storage capacity. The slightly sculpted fronts, without visible handles, illustrate attention to detail and the minimalist aesthetic characteristic of Danish design. The teak, with warm and bright tones, reveals an elegant grain. Dimensions: Height: 72 x Width: 90 x Depth: 43 cm. A piece of furniture that is both functional and decorative, ideal for a vintage, contemporary, or mid-century interior. The little extra: Famous designer Arne Vodder, a major architect of Scandinavian modernism, developed a sober, organic, and refined style based on a perfect mastery of materials. His creations have significantly contributed to the international prominence of Danish design, present in prestigious places such as the White House and the UN in Geneva.
