Superb Art Deco column in solid mahogany (circa 1920). Rare.

Magnificent and quite rare piece of furniture: Art Deco column in solid mahogany resting on a removable base and featuring a glass niche with bevelled glass. Mahogany is a very noble wood found only in well-crafted furniture. This piece is fully panelled on the sides and made of solid wood. It exudes a certain serenity while remaining very airy. On one hand, its dimensions are perfect for small interiors, and on the other, thanks to the finesse of the Art Deco finishes. The corners of the front are indeed typical yet discreet, reproducing stylised floral elements. They complement the beautiful brass handle of the central drawer and the two lock entries of the doors. It opens with a glass door at the top (original bevelled glass) revealing a wooden shelf, a central drawer, and another door at the lower part, again leading to a shelf. The key works perfectly for both locks. A very beautiful piece, restored, functional, and highly aesthetic. It is rare to find mahogany in this type of Art Deco column. There are a few minor signs of wear, but the overall condition is excellent. H: 107 cm. W: 60 cm. D: 35 cm. The price is firm, thank you.
