B3 Wassily chair by Marcel Breuer design 1960

B3 "Wassily" armchair attributed to Marcel Breuer, 1960s edition. Structure in chrome-plated tubular steel and black leather straps. An icon of Bauhaus design, this armchair is distinguished by its light and timeless silhouette. The overall condition is good vintage with a beautiful patina of use on the leather and some discreet marks on the chrome, consistent with its age. Purchased on Selency in November 2020 from a professional seller. No stamp as it dates from the 1960s (Before the acquisition by Knoll in 1968, the Italian publisher Gavina used paper labels or stickers attached under the structure or under the leather straps. With wear, cleaning, and time (over 50-60 years), these labels almost always end up peeling off or disappearing).
