Martin Visser BR02 daybed for Spectrum

Beautiful minimalist sofa bed designed by Martin Visser for the Spectrum. The model BR02 sofa bed was designed in the early 1960s. The sofa had to be reupholstered, so we were able to equip the sofa with a new foam so that it finds its straight and clean lines. We opted for a light beige wool upholstery fabric for upholstery. This sofa is a true classic of timeless design. It is not only a comfortable sofa, but you can also turn this sofa into a single sofa bed. Ideal if you don't have much space and still need extra sleeping from time to time. Adjusting the sofa is easy, as you create the bed by pulling the seat forward with a simple movement, causing the seat to lie flat. The backrest of Visser sofas does not become flat in the sleeping position, the sleeping function is only in the seat position. In a sitting position, the sofa is 193 centimeters wide, 75 centimeters deep and 70 centimeters high. The seat height is then 40 centimeters. If you place the sofa in the sleeping position, the width and height will remain the same, but the sofa will have a depth of 90 centimeters. The seat height is then 35 centimeters.
