Handcrafted entirely by a family of Mayan artisans in Mexico, Olas plates perpetuate an ancestral technique dating back to the pre-Hispanic period. The entire process is carried out using 100% natural materials: from working the clay to shaping the piece, through firing and finishing. Pair Olas and Simple plates to create a warm, barrio-style table setting, perfect for a relaxed lunch, a festive dinner, or to add a vintage touch to your Christmas tables. Polished with natural beeswax and without glaze, they develop a beautiful patina over time, a testament to their handcrafted nature. These plates are not dishwasher, oven, or microwave safe.
