Niels Koefoed 'Lis' dining chairs in rosewood Koefoeds Denmark 1960

This elegant set of four “Lis” dining chairs was designed by Niels Koefoed and produced by Koefoeds Møbelfabrik A/S, Denmark, 1961. A fine example of classic Danish mid-century design, the chairs combine sculptural lightness with excellent comfort. Crafted from beautifully grained solid rosewood, the frames have been professionally refinished with great care to preserve their original character. The seats are upholstered in black faux leather, providing a subtle contrast to the warm tone of the wood.
