Antique teapot in silver-plated metal with ercuis goldsmith hallmarks

Antique Monogrammed Silver-Plated Teapot by ERCUIS Goldsmiths. Antique silver-plated teapot with a wooden handle, possibly ebony. Rare model, harmoniously shaped, rounded with elegant finishes and a monogram on the front. A charming piece, for decoration and/or for a collection. Hallmarks present. Goldsmith hallmark "ERCUIS" and a square hallmark with a centaur (the symbol of Ercuis). The house flourished during the 20th century thanks to its luxury tableware. The centaur hallmark was introduced in 1886, then the letters OE for "Orfèvrerie Ercuis" were added. Numbers engraved under the base.
