Danish modern teak and amber glass wall sconce, 1960s

A vintage mid-century wall sconce featuring a warm amber and clear glass shade with a distinctive geometric etched or engraved pattern around the central frosted section. The shade is mounted on a rich teak wooden backplate and decorative wooden collar, complemented by a polished chrome or stainless-steel curved arm. The combination of teak, amber glass and chrome is particularly characteristic of Scandinavian mid-century design. The overall design has an elegant, organic silhouette, balancing natural wood with geometric glass and sleek metalwork. It would work particularly well as bedside lighting, hallway lighting, living-room accent lighting or as a pair beside a mirror or artwork.
