This well-known Hans Wegner armchair is in perfect condition and shows some minor signs of wear. White leather in perfect condition. Black walnut frame. When Hans J. Wegner unveiled his CH07 armchair in 1963, many critics celebrated its frankly avant-garde aesthetic, but the general public, confused, was much more reserved. It must be said that its production cost was very high, so only a very limited quantity was produced. When Carl Hansen & Søn reintroduced it in 1998, at a more affordable price thanks to technical progress, the general public was enthusiastic this time and the armchair immediately became a best-seller for the brand.
