Art nouveau board

This rare plate comes from the artist's album published in 1900 by a.calavas. The parisian publishing house calavas specialized in the publication of books devoted to the decorative arts. The creations of multiple artists of the art nouveau movement will be highlighted in this type of album intended in particular for decorators and manufacturers of lace and silks. Phototyping is the printing process that required the use of a glass plate to reproduce the photographic image. This proof without frames is thus very fine and of a beautiful quality. It is sold alone without supervision.
