A wall mirror designed by Sergio Mazza for Artemide in the 1960s, created at a time when Italian design sought the perfect balance between functionality, elegance, and exceptional craftsmanship. With measured proportions and a sober vocabulary, Mazza transformed an everyday object into a refined architectural presence. Its circular nickel-plated brass frame consists of a series of concentric profiles, alternating polished and satin surfaces that enhance its depth while capturing light in a constantly changing manner. The nickel finish gives the metal a soft and sophisticated tone, while the stepped profile adds rhythm and three-dimensionality, making the frame an architectural element rather than just a border. A clear expression of Artemide's early design philosophy, this mirror combines formal restraint, meticulous construction, and thoughtful use of materials. A timeless piece whose understated elegance continues to enrich contemporary interiors. Condition: Generally good condition. The frame shows signs of oxidation, and the mirror has some cloudy areas related to age. Dimensions: Diameter 62 cm – Depth 3.5 cm. Ref.: C0903.
